what are the chances of that happenning?

Every once in a while there is an opportunity to see how God networks things and people in the way only God can.
When it happens, it really makes you feel like maybe God is connecting the dots for us and that we might just be in the middle of his divine plan.

About 2 years ago I received a phone call from a company here in Chennai, they were selling a VOIP phone product that I was interested in learning more about. A salesperson was dispatched and that's how I met Raj. In his mid thirties, Raj had been abroad for work and returned back to Chennai, he was a Christian and was interested in talking about Christ and business and almost anything else. I invited him to come to Word of Life (then we were doing monthly outreach events) and he dropped in a couple of times. Then we lost touch, I always sent him emails and messages, but with no response. A few months back I was standing on the side of the road at a used car lot and Raj wheels up on his scooter, it took me a moment to remember who he was. We chatted for a bit, then I invited him to Church, he came... since then he has popped in a couple of times, he loves the program, but perhaps is finding some difficulty feeling connected.

Also a few years ago we had a business man named Ramesh coming to the outreach events, he even got baptised at our house back then. He too fell off the radar and we seldom heard from him until a few months back. He and a few old friends of his had started a new business and wanted to connect with me as a possible contact to the Canadian marketplace. I invited them all to church and they have been coming with some regularity.

Last week Raj (from the first story) showed up to church from a follow up call made by one of our new team members, when he arrived, he met with Rajesh and the two other guys he is in business with (Chris and Suresh). to their surprise, Chris and Raj were old friends who had not seen each other in 12 years, each of them had gone abroad for business and work and now both were back in Chennai. It was quite an exciting reunion for them and it all happened at Church, validating their faith and affirming that Word of Life is God's place for them.

It was great for us too, as we saw God connecting people with us who were already connected to each other, it made us feel like God was involved... What are the chances of two disconnected friends from 12 years back, in this city of 10+ million people accidentally meeting each other at a newly launched church service with 50 or so regular attendees....

We see God in it... feels good.
